During the summer of 1965, I undertook a study-tour of Europe and a year later, a junior year in Switzerland.
Worked as a Playboy Bunny and then at the United Nations in New York, before I started grad school. Eloped to France in 1969 and studied cooking in Caen.
Started my career at GTE International in Boston and moved to the EPA in Washington DC. One of my many assignments took me to the Public Works & Transportation Committee on Capitol Hill for a year.
Studied jujitsu in Reston, Virginia, and retired in 2014.
My most memorable moment occurred when I was sworn in as Vice President of Executive Women in Government by first woman Justice Sandra Day O’Connor at the US Supreme Court in 2005. In the photo below, I am the woman in black dress wearing pearls.
